Important Coverage Information

Before your client applies for an individual plan, we recommend using the insurance company’s online tool to check that your client’s doctor is in the plan’s network. Individual plan networks can look very different from the networks your client may have had through an employer — even with the same insurance company.

If your client is signing up outside of the annual Open Enrollment Period, they’ll need to have experienced a qualifying life event (such as losing their job-based coverage, getting married, or having a baby). They’ll also need to provide documentation of that event as part of their application. If they don’t have a qualifying event, we can help them explore short-term medical coverage options to bridge the gap until the next Open Enrollment Period.

Keep in mind that not all insurance carriers are available in every state. Contact us for options in your market.
