Derek Borisoff

CEO, CONTRACT BINDING, PERSONAL LINES AND LITE BROKERAGE

Derek now serves as CEO, Contract Binding, Personal Lines and Lite Brokerage at SPG Wholesale. Previously, he was CEO of Monarch E&S Insurance Services, which became part of Specialty Program Group in 2017 and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

Derek held various positions with increasing authority throughout his career, starting his senior year at The University of Southern California (USC) as a NAPSLO intern. Derek spent the next decade working for an E&S firm, eventually owning part of the operation. By age 33 he took the helm of Los Angeles-based Monarch E&S Insurance Services and seven years later became owner.

Derek operates more as a coach than CEO, something he knows well from his years competing in college sports and coaching water polo. Derek’s overall business philosophy is that success comes from supporting the people who support your business.

Derek is an active sponsor of Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of California and top sponsor for events such as the Young Agents Conference, Los Angeles I-Day, San Diego I-Day, and other events organized by retail broker associations.

Derek has been married for 39 years to his wife Kristi, and they now are grandparents to three little girls. They raised three sons, all of whom won multiple national championships in water polo at USC. All three sons are employed within the insurance industry.

Yiana Stavrakis CPCU

President, Contract Binding, Personal Lines and Lite Brokerage

Yiana Stavrakis is President of Contract Binding, Personal Lines, and Lite Brokerage at SPG Wholesale. A dynamic leader with deep expertise in underwriting, claims management, and strategic growth, Yiana has played a pivotal role in SPG Wholesale’s national expansion and long-term strategy.

Previously, Yiana served as President of Monarch E&S Insurance Services, which joined Specialty Program Group in 2017 and now operates under the SPG Wholesale umbrella. Her leadership has been instrumental in integrating and scaling acquired entities, driving operational excellence and market reach.

Yiana began her insurance career at Metro Insurance Services, Inc., a real estate MGU, where she quickly advanced through roles in underwriting and claims. She later joined Preferred Concepts, LLC. following Metro’s acquisition, supporting underwriting teams and carrier relationships. Her transition into wholesale brokerage came via AmWINS Group, Inc., where she focused on developing strategic partnerships with retailers and carriers.

She holds a summa cum laude degree in Business Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Rutgers Business School. Yiana is a licensed property, casualty, and surplus lines insurance professional and holds both the CPCU and ASLI designations.

Yiana is an active industry leader, serving on the IBANY board and as co-founder and past president of NAPSLO’s Next Generation. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the NAPSLO Past President’s Award, the Steven R. Gross Under 40 Award, and IBANY’s First Emerging Leader Award. In 2022, she joined CHIEF, a private network for executive women leaders.

She has been recognized by Insurance Business America as one of the Hot 100, 100 Women to Watch, and was a finalist for the Woman of Distinction Award.

Devon Borisoff

VICE PRESIDENT AND COMMERCIAL LINES LEADER

Devon now serves as Vice President and Commercial Lines Leader at SPG Wholesale. He previously held leadership roles at Monarch E&S Insurance Services, which became part of Specialty Program Group in 2017 and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

A third-generation insurance professional, Devon Borisoff joined the industry in 2011 after graduating from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Since joining the business, he has worked as a marketing representative for USLI, spent over a year as a North American property broker at Lloyds of London, and interned for over two years with various carriers in Scottsdale, AZ.

Borisoff joined Monarch E&S in 2017 as a senior underwriter specializing in both binding and brokerage business, while also acting as their VP of carrier relations. Recently, he has taken over as VP and commercial lines leader.

Stefanie McLeod

Vice President and Personal Lines Leader

Stefanie now serves as Vice President and Personal Lines Leader at SPG Wholesale. She previously led personal lines at Monarch E&S Insurance Services, which became part of Specialty Program Group in 2017 and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

Stefanie served as the personal lines leader of Monarch E&S. She joined the firm in 2002, beginning her career as the receptionist and working her way through underwriting to the position she is in today.

Over the past 20 years, McLeod has been successful in growing a large book of personal lines business while also helping to expand Monarch’s personal lines products and regions. She has been a member of the IBA-BGP since 2008 and understands the importance of supporting the company’s retail agents.

Cynthia O'Brien

President, Complex Risk Brokerage

Cynthia O’Brien now serves as President, Complex Risks Brokerage at SPG Wholesale. She previously led Specialty Wholesale Insurance Solutions (SWIS), which became part of Specialty Program Group and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

Cynthia O’Brien is the President of one of the industry’s most dynamic wholesale brokerage platforms. With over 30 years of experience in property & casualty, construction, habitational, and executive/professional liability lines, Cynthia is recognized for her ability to drive growth, build enduring carrier and retail relationships, and deliver tailored solutions in a complex and competitive marketplace.

At SWIS, Cynthia built the firm’s foundation on ensuring clients, carriers, and team members alike benefit from a culture of performance, collaboration, and innovation. She successfully expanded SWIS’s geographic footprint, negotiated exclusive market partnerships, and positioned the firm as a go-to partner for retailers seeking both expertise and service-oriented responsiveness.

Known for her strategic acumen and relationship-driven approach, Cynthia is equally passionate about developing talent. She invests deeply in training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that elevate her team and foster the next generation of wholesale leaders.

Outside of her professional role, Cynthia balances her career with personal passions that include travel, design, and spending time with her family.

Amanda Sedliak

President, SPG ExecuPro

Amanda Sedliak now serves as President of SPG ExecuPro, the Executive & Professional Liability solution within SPG Wholesale. She previously led the SWIS/PBC Professional and Executive Teams and Capitol Special Risks, which became part of Specialty Program Group and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

Amanda currently oversees the wholesale side of Capitol Special Risks. She has 20+ years insurance experience, most of which is on the broker side with the exception of her start in the industry as an E&O underwriter with AIG. She enjoys what she does and the retail agent relationships that she does it for. That being said, work is not a job it is a privilege. There is no challenge too big if it is to help those that she works with. Aside for her CSRisks family, Amanda has 2 children, a husband and several furry friends. She enjoys traveling with her family and attending as many educational and extracurricular activities as possible.

Alison Green

DIRECTOR OF BROKERAGE, SPG EXECUPRO

Alison Green now serves as Director of Brokerage at SPG ExecuPro. She joined Specialty Program Group in 2021 and previously worked across both carrier and wholesale sides of financial lines coverage.

Alison brings extensive knowledge and experience working both on the carrier side and wholesale side of financial lines coverage. During nearly two decades within the Executive Lines insurance industry, she has focused on building relationships based on knowledge and trust while monitoring market conditions, handling complex risks, and solving problems for her clients.

After starting her career as an underwriter with AIG focused on cyber and professional liability, she moved to a marketing role with another carrier with a focus on management liability. She grew her knowledge of all lines in Executive Risk placements and decided to branch out to the brokerage side where she could assist her retail partners in understanding the complex risks and exposures in the emerging cyber liability market. She has placed everything from large municipal entities and state college systems to solo business ventures.

Ms. Green earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, served on the Executive Committee of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), and as the Southeast Chapter Chair. Throughout, she has shared her expertise by presenting to industry groups on emerging trends in the market.

As an empty nester, Alison enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs and volunteering. Ms. Green dedicates her time and talent to the Atlanta Humane Society and Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF.

John D. McCann

President, Healthcare Professional, SPG EXECUPRO

John McCann now serves as President, Healthcare Professional at SPG ExecuPro. He previously held leadership roles in executive and healthcare professional liability within Specialty Program Group.

John brings extensive experience in professional liability underwriting and brokerage, working closely with healthcare organizations and their retail brokers to address complex exposures. His expertise strengthens ExecuPro’s leadership in the healthcare segment of executive risk.

Amanda Duncan

CEO, SPG ENVIRONMENTAL

Amanda Duncan now serves as CEO of SPG Environmental. She previously served as CEO of Beacon Hill Associates and President of PartnerOne Environmental, which became part of Specialty Program Group and are now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

Amanda has over 25 years of professional experience, working in many facets of the environmental insurance industry. Prior to joining Beacon Hill and PartnerOne Environmental, Amanda was a Product Line Manager and Underwriter for three environmental insurance carriers. She also previously worked as a Project Engineer for an environmental contractor in Atlanta, GA, where she helped manage and implement cleanup efforts at Superfund and NPL facilities throughout the southeastern US. Amanda has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, with specialization in Environmental Engineering, from Georgia Tech. Amanda is married with two daughters and enjoys running in her spare time.

Jamie Lewis

PRESIDENT, SPG ENVIRONMENTAL

Jamie Lewis now serves as President of SPG Environmental. She previously served as President of Beacon Hill Associates, which became part of Specialty Program Group and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

In addition to serving as President of SPG Environmental, Jamie also heads the Brokerage Southeast Region, focusing on assisting our agency partners in placing environmental coverage with highly rated carriers and products. She began her insurance career with State Farm Insurance in the Fire Company. Since joining Beacon Hill in 2007, Jamie has served in multiple production and management roles for all territories. As President, Jamie manages an excellent team with specialties in large and small renewal and new business, along with superior servicing. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor and enjoys participating in as many insurance-related professional development courses and trainings as she can. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband who is a Charlottesville Police Lieutenant and being a mom to their two young boys.

Michael Tighe

CHIEF SALES OFFICER, SPG ENVIRONMENTAL

Michael Tighe now serves as Chief Sales Officer at SPG Environmental. He previously served as Chief Sales Officer at Beacon Hill Associates, which became part of Specialty Program Group and is now consolidated under SPG Wholesale.

He joined Beacon Hill in 2001 and ran the Brokerage Northeast Region. Mike specializes in writing: environmental contractors, real estate portfolios, manufacturer & distributors, and standalone Pollution coverage for many commercial risks. Prior to joining BHA, Mike was a retailer in the Washington, DC area and enjoys helping agents place effective Pollution coverage with over forty highly rated carriers. He earned a business degree from University of Virginia and is married with a young son and daughter. In his spare time, Mike enjoys chasing golf balls, pickleball, and his two dogs.
